Welcome to Troop 55 Boy Scouts

Troop 55 was started in 1983 by Scoutmaster Jerry Martin with 10 boys.  5 of those first 10 scouts went on to become Eagle Scouts.  We are a very active troop with a membership averaging 40-50 scouts and 15-20 adult leaders.  We are sponsored by Christ Presbyterian Church and meet in our own Scout Barn at 2323 Old Hickory Blvd. in Nashville, Tennessee.

We have a passion for growing boys into young men by using God's great outdoor classroom as a stage to inspire, encourage and challenge our scouts in their own personal growth as they transition from boyhood to manhood.  Over the past 40 years of our history, we have had the blessing of influencing hundreds of boys and look forward to many more years to come.

Boy Scouts is for young men between the ages of 10 (after completing the 5th grade) and 18.
